How the Airlocks Rotary Valve Star Feeder Valve is Used?
When performing transfer on all pneumatic conveying lines, it is a device to
feed the material down to the line and separate the raw material
pneumatically transferred from the air. Blade forms, tolerances,
revolution speeds vary depending on type of process and type of the

depending on the characteristics of the material to be transported.

to be transported. Simple solution commercially available may
deliver successful results for transfer of many materials such as
flour, cement and many more. However, a slight change in the granule
size and a different material means fail of such equipment.
For example for sunflower, you may not, for example, use the air
lock-cell wheel that you use for the cement. The primary reason is
that the sunflower is oily and when the air lock is stripped at the
steel blades, it gets damaged and the inner sides of the blades
become full with sunflower particles over time as a result of oil
extraction. While the process runs on, there comes a time when the
blades are full by half and transfer capacity goes down by 50%.

bedding. Or wrong blades may cause material grounding and even
